Following on from Capcom’s announcement of Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition, Capcom have revealed that it will be released as DLC.
The games giant asked fans in the pan-western regions how they would like the new Resident Evil 5 content delivered to them. Needless to say, most fans voted in favour of DLC and not a new hard disc. As a result, Capcom have announced that new downloadable content will be available for Resident Evil 5 owners this spring on both Xbox Live and the Playstation Network.
The DLC will contain a level that was heavily referenced in the original game, “Lost in Nightmares“, where Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine infiltrate the Spencer Estate.
Whether this new content will enable the existing Playstation 3 owners the option to play the game with the new motion controller, remains to be seen.
